Day 14: Spread Love Like Jelly Challenge (Feel the Love)

Day 14: Spread Love Like Jelly Challenge (Feel the Love)

Today, I am making a list of all the things I can think of that make me feel loved.  I think part of spreading love and choosing joy is recognizing what things in our lives make us feel loved. Without noticing when and how and why I feel like I am loved, how can I best recognize that it others?

So I brainstorm, and today I challenge you to brainstorm too! Create a list of the things in your life that make you feel loved. Contemplate the simple things and the big things. This really helped me to recognize the ways in which my own loved ones must like to be loved!

  • coffee already made in the morning
  • hugs
  • notes from my students
  • real mail in my mailbox
  • when my husband packs my lunch
  • the wagging tails of my dogs when I get home
  • phone calls from friends
  • people who keep their promises
  • when my husband pumps gas for my car
  • when my mother signs all her notes “love you bunches”
  • coming home from work and finding the bed made
  • fresh flowers

What kinds of things make you feel loved?

  1. Aww this is such a sweet post. Gotta love hugs! I’m feeling sick today and at home with our two children – my husband came home for lunch and made me a hot chocolate and some soup. I’m feeling the love!

  2. I love this! What an awesome series about spreading love!

  3. So sweet! Love your list. I feel loved when my daughter hugs me or gives me unprompted kisses, when my husband tells me to take my time in the shower, and when my sister chooses me to be the only one to open up to about certain important things in her life.

  4. Very cute post! Every one needs love 🙂 I try to do something nice every day at the office even if it’s just giving a compliment! Kind words go a long ways!

  5. Awww! This is so sweet! Coffee already made in the morning is seriously the way to my heart! And I love real mail, too!

  6. My son kissing me randomly (15 month old) – nothing can beat this and I am sure every mommy can agree with this 🙂

  7. I’m with you on hugs and seeing my dogs tail wag (as she rolls over for a tummy rub) when I come home. The best! Great idea for a post. 🙂
